Written and directed by Sara Luraschi and Stefania Minghini Azzarello, The Second Closet (Bleeding Love) explores a lesbian relationship strained by a difficult choice. This Italian short film is part of the “Bleeding Love” project, an EU-funded initiative involving Háttér Társaság and seven other LGBTQI organizations.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about domestic and dating violence affecting lesbian, bisexual, and trans women. Through research and outreach, the project promotes prevention and professional support for survivors. Dedicated to every woman who shared her story, this 12-minute drama sheds light on the complexities of intimate partner violence within the community.
