Descriptions:

Watch “confess,” a compelling cinematic journey directed, written, produced, and edited by Clarisse Apolinario. This narrative exploration captures the raw essence of youth and the bittersweet transition from adolescence into the unknown.

“confess” is focused on an intimate friend group who just graduated high school together, officially starting their final summer break before adulthood pulls them in different directions. The group consists of five distinct individuals named Olive, Ethan, Sydney, Enzo, and Riley. This film sheds light on how friendships can sometimes become a little complicated when emotions and secrets finally bubble to the surface. Throughout the story, we will see how this group of friends deals with universal problems like miscommunications, ghosting, and heartbreaking misunderstandings. You know… among other things that come with the territory of growing up.

“confess” is a short film created by Clarisse Apolinario, marking a significant milestone in their creative journey. This is their first-ever film and official debut as a film director. Clarisse originally started off as a dedicated music artist and songwriter, who now has 19 songs up on Spotify and other major streaming platforms. This film serves as a visual extension of their artistic storytelling, blending a melodic sensibility with the grit of real-life drama.
