SYNOPSIS
Anika is about to go on the date of her dreams when she is caught off guard by an unexpected visit from her mother. Though close, Anika has never opened up to her mother about who she really is. Confronted by the weight of her secret, Anika acts rashly, potentially alienating her very first love. This poignant short film explores the tension between cultural expectations and personal authenticity, capturing the fragile moment when one’s private reality clashes with family tradition.
