The Summer After (2022)

Set in 1986 Cape Cod, Summer After is the unofficial sequel to Summer of Mesa by writer-director Josh Cox. One year following an intense seasonal romance with a girl from out of town, seventeen-year-old Mesa navigates the complexities of her past. This evocative short film captures her journey of self-discovery and reconciliation as she explores the peninsula and her own identity. Produced by Americana Pictures, this queer coming-of-age story stars Andrea Granera, Deepti Menon, and Mateo Correa.
