Director’s Statement:
This film explores the fear of what exists beyond perception and what happens when the self becomes unreliable. The attic represents the mind’s hidden space—what we suppress, forget, or refuse to confront. By keeping the threat mostly unseen and focusing on psychological deterioration, the film prioritizes dread over spectacle. The goal was to create a slow-burn experience where sound, absence, and subtle shifts in behavior become the horror, leaving the audience questioning identity, memory, and what it means to lose control of oneself.

That was such a chilling and atmospheric short—the tension in the stairwell scene had me holding my breath! The visuals and sound design were absolutely spot-on for creating that eerie vibe. Can’t wait to see more from Harrow House!
